Classic Pan-Seared California Corbina

  • 4 Corbina fillets
  • 2 tbsp olive oil
  • Juice and zest of 1 lemon
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Optional: Fresh parsley for garnish

Instructions

  • Prepare the fish: Pat the Corbina fillets dry and season both sides with salt and pepper.
  • Heat the pan: Add olive oil to a large skillet and heat over medium-high.
  • Cook the fillets: Place the fillets in the pan and cook for 3-4 minutes on each side, or until the fish flakes easily.
  • Add flavor: During the last minute of cooking, add garlic and cook until fragrant. Squeeze the lemon juice over the fish, sprinkle with lemon zest, and serve with a side of vegetables or salad.
